Okay got it. The support for <template> does not seem to be adequate (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/template) I wasn't able to find much information on the support for <script type="text/template"> besides this thread on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/webdev/comments/3sek2i/question_template_vs_script_t...). But since we are just using it to hold some text, I chose to use that route for this purpose. For now, I just created the template and placed it in the article.tmpl . In a separate issue, I will handle displaying the text in the appropriate place.
