Not only did the event remind us of the great significance of being open source, but highlig hted the importance of having Adblock Plus support and get involved with the Ope n Source and Free Software community.

	10 Among many other positive outcomes, we had the opportunity to join forces with " Endless OS":https://endlessos.com/ - a Linux-based operating system which provid es a simplified and streamlined user experience using a customized desktop envir onment forked from GNOME 3. We are happy to announce that now Endless OS has the Adblock Plus extension installed for users of the default Chromium and Chrome b rowser.

The free software community hates it when you call GNU/Linux Linux because most of the OS is GNU and not Linux. Question: How did we join forces? Did we just help the integrate ABP into their GNU/Linux distribution?

	12 This is a great example of how fruitful the open source landscape can be, with c ountless possibilities for growth. We always think of open source as a chance to innovate and change the way we think about creativity.

	20 A few weeks from now, we will happily support the very first edition of FOSS Bac kstage, (13th and 14th of June Berlin, Kulturbrauerei) - thanks to "newthinking" :https://newthinking.de/en who facilitated everything. This is an exciting new c onference dedicated to everything related to FOSS governance and open collaborat ion. There is no doubt we want to want to be part of this great initiative.

	24 In addition to that, we’d like to continue the tradition of joining FrOSCon. We’ ve attended for several years already, but this year we are going to be bigger! We’ll have an Adblock Plus booth in their project space, sponsorship, and talks in the conference program. In its 13th edition, FrOSCon will take place on Augus t 25th and 26th in Sankt Augustin this year. It attracts around 2.000 people to its 8 tracks on everything Free and Open Source.
