Just importing it into bootstrap.js scope is not sufficient, you also have to
add it to the scope of the modules (module scopes are set up in require()
function below).

The fact that the code works the way you have it here is more or less a bug:
modules can access the scope of bootstrap.js. That's because we don't put them
into individual sandboxes unless you specify the --multi-compartment build
option (something that currently has a bit too much impact on memory footprint
and performance). So they share the global object with bootstrap.js.

Eventually we should make sure that bootstrap.js doesn't define any global
variables beyond the required startup/shutdown/install/uninstall.
