With the title already reading: Disable social media buttons
It might read better to start by describing what social media buttons do as most
users are not aware of this? And describe visually what happens on page when
this feature is enabled.

I.e. Social media buttons track your online browsing activities. Even if you
never click one of these buttons, a profile based on your browsing habits can be
created and sent to various social network servers. Use Adblock Plus to stop
social media sites from tracking your online activity. This means all social
media buttons will be hidden.

We need to also add the step to check that the list was successfully downloaded.
Because we don't currently see the subscriptions list settings with this method,
we would need to add in some more steps for them to open the filter list options
menu and check themselves. An example would be:

6. Select Extensions on the left side
7. Find Adblock Plus and select Options 
8. Select Filter Preferences
9. Confirm that the Disable Malware filter list is added and updated recently

Obviously, the variant for Linux/OSX needs to be input.
